Who is Damien Spencer??? I was born in Los Alamos 8 weeks premature. I spent the 1st month of my life in an oven at the hospital until I was done cooking. From there I lived in a army mess tent on top of a mountain at 8,700 ft for three years. The Jemez Mountains were my home for about 5 more years. From there I moved to Nevada for a few years only to return back to the mountains. Then once again I left for Nevada this time for about 5 years.
Deciding that Nevada wasn’t the best place in the world I retreated close to my original home. I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. I lived there for about 10 more years. Attending the Art Center and working odd jobs.. Once the city began to drive me crazy I fled once again into the mountains.
I now live in the Jemez Mountains in New Mexico and am working on my artwork and trying to become more then a starving artist.
